Today in the field on the Saclay plateau for the first maize grain harvest in years — a symbolic step for our breeding and field teams !
With the support of Antedis, our team at GQE-Le Moulon and Unité Expérimentale d’INRAE Ile-de-France - Versailles-Saclay is strengthening our new INRAE Département BAP Varietal Innovation and Diversification Program (https://gafl.paca.hub.inrae.fr/partenariats-et-projets/projets-nationaux/ivd), focusing on the Marano Saclay population.
This population is being developed as part of a local value chain for human food use, promoting genetic diversity, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture in the Paris region.
