Final Conference of AMAIZING project, coordinated by GQE-Le Moulon, 20-22/09/21, Paris

Coordinated by Alain Charcosset at UMR GQE-Le Moulon, AMAIZING project will end on September 30th 2021, after 10 years fruitful cooperation. A closing conference will be held 20-22 September 2021 in Paris in order to present results from the project.

The conference will be organized in three sessions:

  • A scientific conference on September 20th pm and 21st am (open to all),
  • A session for stakeholders and broad audience on September 22nd am (open to all) ,
  • An internal session for project partners on September 21st pm and 22nd pm.

Given the sanitary context, the event will be accessible online as visio conference, with the possibility for those who wish to do so to attend sessions in person in Paris (Salle Colonne, Paris 13rd, Glacière subway). In this later case, please register no later than September 10th.

AMAIZING project

AMAIZING was designed to support the competitiveness of the French maize breeding sector as well as to meet society demand for sustainability and quality. This ambitious project developed over a period of eight years for a total investment of 27.5 million Euros by 23 partners: 14 public research units attached to several INRAE centres, 8 private societies and cooperatives, and 1 technical institute.

In addition to the coordinator, Alain Charcosset, INRAE Research director, many scientists from UMR GQE-Le Moulon contributed to the scientific management and animation of AMAIZING.
