Research interests
I am interested in understanding the functioning of crop mixtures (GxX) and GxGxE interactions, with the aim of identifying traits and breeding methodologies for crop mixtures within the context of agroecological practices. My research combines quantitative genetics with population genetics, ecophysiology and agronomy.
My research focuses on the following subjects:
- predicting the behaviour of interspecific wheat-pea mixtures in future environments using genetic and ecophysiological models.
- predicting environmental adaptation and identifying the genetic determinants involved (INCREASE project, with M. Tenaillon, GEvAD team; E. Marchadier, BASE team; T. Mary-Huard and L. Moreau, GQMS team)
- investigating the modulation of disease resistance trait expression in wheat by G, E and GxE effects.
